Hi! I'm the photographer behind Golden Days Media, a 31-year-old storyteller based in Beccles, Suffolk, United Kingdom. I've been photographing for around five years, but my journey started long before that.

I first learned photography while serving in The Royal Navy, completing a course in intelligence photography where precision and observation were at the heart of the job. Those skills shaped the way I see the world today - calm, patient, and always searching for the authentic moments that tell a real story.

Since then, photography has taken me across countless landscapes, countries, and coastlines. Travel and exploration have become a huge part of my life. Whether it's a quiet sunrise over the Suffolk marshes or a bustling Mediterranean town, I've always found myself drawn to capturing the feeling of a place, not just the view. That passion naturally feeds back into my wedding, couple, and portrait work - grounding everything in a documentary, honest approach.

That's why alongside digital, I also shoot 35mm and 120 film. Film has a depth and nostalgia that simply can't be replicated, and I love using it for weddings, portraits, and travel photography alike. It slows everything down, makes people feel more present, and adds something timeless to every story.

I cover Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond, travelling wherever the story takes me. At the heart of it all, I simply love making people happy. Capturing memories - the golden days you'll look back on - is genuinely something that brings me joy.
